Elizabeth Wright is my wonderful Nanna, but she liked to be called Betty and most people will know her by that name. She sadly passed away on 16th April 2008 at the brilliant age of 85. She was a nurse in her 20's. She lived in Harraton for about 30 years and loved it. My Nanna always had smile on her face no matter what was said or done that smile was always there, she was always there to listen to our problems and our fears. I am not sure what took her away from us. Still while she was in hospital for 3 weeks, Nanna was still having a laugh with us, nothing at all could keep her down! She has left a big loving family, her two sons - Dave and Peter, Grandchildren - Me, John, Lewis, Nicole, Tracey and Michael, Great-Grandchildren - Rebecca, Andrew and Katie and two daughter in-laws - Lia and Mandy. She also has 2 sisters and 4 brothers, along with nieces and nephews. And not forgetting my mother Helen.
This memorial site is dedicated to my wonderful loving Nanna from all of the family.

i know i never really got the chance to meet you but ive been told i did when i was a few month old if only i could remember that day..i guess things happen for a reason but if only i could turn back time and get the chance to meet you again...mandy's been the best cousin to me and i can only be greatful yet again i wish things could have been different and been the typical family and spend the time i could with you..im sure you would have been the best great grandma to me and i will always think about that day that i did meet you..love always hannah leigh xxxx

Hey Nanna sorry I havent been on 4 a while but just cuddnt face it 4 abit (even though a cryin now) as you know I gained a new cousin afew months ago but shes always been there, just didnt know!!! I know 4 a fact u would have loved her just as much as you loved all of us!! Well shes called Hannah Leigh, shes just turned 16!! just a baby haha but shes the double of our Bex, theres no denying shes a Sparey like haha. She told me that wen she found out you were gone, she wanted her mam Sandra 2 bring her to your funeral nd I sed she should have came coz she had as much right 2 be there as the rest of us. Certain people have been really nasty about it as you probably know!! I aint happy coz at the end of the day shes my cousin your great granddaughter!! I love her the same as the rest of the family!! Me and Rob have been together for 1 year on the 9th August, ano is gone so quick!! and I love him more and more everyday I am with him. I bet you already know about our Bex bein preggers haha I am so happy for her and we have just found out shes havin a little girl!!! Im so excited haha.
Well nanna am gonna go 2 bed as am absolutely knackered!! (bin havin a drink with Lauras mam and mine)

2 years today nanna and it never gets any easier, Emma took me to the beach today to cheer me up. I am trying so hard not to cry because they were the last words you said to me - ''Don't Cry''!!! but everytime you pop into my head I want to but I remember you words and it stops me, I know you saw me cryin in bed last night when I looked at the time and it was the time you left me (12:20am). I miss you every second of every hour of everyday and I will never ever ever forget the fun and the laughs we had. Continue to sleep well Nanna - we will be together again one day - look after our Rosie for us and please tell her we love her loads and miss her everyday!!!

Hey Nanna, as you know we lost our Rosie afew weeks ago. I hope she is with you as that would make us alot happier knowing that she is. Just a quick word before I visit Laura and go to bed.
I had a phone call from Penshaw Riding School today and I start on Thursday. I am soooo excited, but I am not only living my dream, I am doing it im your memory for all the times you told me that I should be doing it!!
As you know it won't be long until we loose our Beloved Holly, Please look after her as much as you can and when the time does come, please make her as pain free as possible. Thank you Nanna
